Miguidet Hernandez: I am from Venezuela and in 2003 I came to the Netherlands, few years later I started to practice yoga, at that moment was more the atraction for the physical postures that looked imposible for me to do, and the mental peace that i felt after any yoga session. In march 2008 I received a certification as national Yoga teacher RYS by the Yoga Institute of Houston, USA, the same year I started to teach and I traveled to India where I studied Indian Culture and Philosophy from the Punab Paschim Institute, and complete a teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa in the Parmath Niketan in Rishikesh. Later i traveled to different contries and participated in yoga workshops from teachers as, Manju Jois, David Swenson, Anthony Prem Carlisi, Clayton Horton, Mark Whitwell, and many others who have left a great inspiration in my practice and teaching. With Manju Jois in 2011 I completed the second seires adjustments teacher training. After two trips to India, experiencing living in an ashram, meditating and growing in my own spirituality, i went back to India in january 2012, this time going to Mysore the source of ashtanga yoga, i felt from my heart that it was the right time to be there. Being part of this movement of people dedicated with love to the practice of ashtanga yoga, and to learn from Saraswathi and Sharath in the Pattabhi Jois ashtanga yoga institute has been a confirmation that ashtanga yoga is my life and through teaching it, i want to spread the benefits of yoga. I want to help all my students to experience the transformation within themselves, not only on their mats but in their daily life.
